Shipping policy
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
At No. 49, we commit to promptly shipping your orders. However, please understand that the arrival dates of orders cannot be guaranteed due to factors such as order volume, postal mishandling, and technical malfunctions. We ship Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and select holidays. It typically takes 1-2 business days to process your order. Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. We currently offer regular shipping only. Please note that transit times and courier services may vary depending on the shipping destination. Once the package has left our warehouse and is in the possession of the courier, No. 49 is not responsible for shipment delays or delivery issues.
Important Note: Couriers no longer require signatures upon delivery. If your package is marked as delivered by the courier based on the tracking information but you cannot retrieve it at the shipping address, No. 49 cannot accept responsibility for the loss. We recommend contacting the courier to address this matter.
For Canada and US Orders: Orders shipped to Canada and the US are dispatched from Canada using carriers such as UPS, DHL, FedEx, or Canada Post. UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes, so providing a residential or work address is recommended.
For International Orders: International orders are shipped using UPS, DHL, or FedEx as the courier service. Delivery times to some countries may take 2-3 weeks. Please be aware that customs clearance processes or courier transit time can cause delays. No. 49 is not accountable for these delays.
DUTIES AND INTERNATIONAL FEES:
Applicable customs or import duties are typically charged when the package arrives at its destination country. In addition, the receiver must pay a shipment fee. These fees are paid to the local carrier or government and are not collected by No. 49. As a result, No. 49 cannot provide refunds for these fees, nor can they estimate or confirm the costs. Since customs policies and import duties vary between countries, it is advisable to contact your local customs office before placing an order to avoid any unexpected charges.
For shipments to Europe, international destinations, or Australia, our packages are shipped DDU (duties and taxes unpaid) and may be subject to import duty. No. 49 is unaware of these charges, and if our shipper contacts us regarding them, the responsibility falls on our customer to settle these charges before receiving their order. To learn more about these costs, it is recommended to reach out to your local customs office for further details.
WRONG ADDRESS DISCLAIMER:
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the shipping address is entered correctly. If the wrong shipping address is provided, please get in touch with us at info@no49.ca immediately. We strive for quick processing and shipping times; therefore there is a small-time gap to correct/change the address of your order, and we cannot guarantee the change. Courier may refuse an address change if the parcel has already been shipped with an incorrect address. Should the parcel be returned to us, and the buyer wishes to have it reshipped, please note that additional shipping fees may apply.
